When replacing damaged rolling bearings, screw pulling tools can be used to disassemble them, or the inner or outer sleeves of bearings can be extruded by a press. For the pull-out or extrusion of bearings, attention should be paid to the uniform action of the focus on the inner sleeve of bearings, the direction of force should be parallel to the axial center; the bearing sleeve should not be allowed to move out of the transmission shaft in an inclined manner, so as to avoid the damage of the working face of the transmission shaft caused by the bearing sleeve.
The installation method of rolling bearing is decided by the size of the interference between bearing and mating shaft. When the interference is the smallest, it can be assembled by hammer knocking method. When hammering with a hand, we should pay attention to the point of focus should be alternately hit, the force should be uniform; with the shaft bearing, we should hit the inner sleeve; with the bearing seat, we should hit the outer sleeve.
If the size of interference between bearing sleeve and matching shaft is large, the sleeve can be used to assemble bearings. Then according to the size of interference, hammer or press assembly is used. Large bearings or bearings with larger interference size can also be assembled by oil bath heating method. The bearings are suspended in oil at 80-100 C. The bearings are heated at constant temperature for a period of time to be taken out and assembled on the shaft immediately.
When assembling rolling bearings, no matter which type of assembling fit is adopted, attention should be paid to the amount of axial channeling when working. This momentum is due to the thermal expansion caused by the increase of temperature when the bearing is working. If the axial momentum is not left when the bearing is installed, the expansion force acts on the bearing, which will increase the working load of the bearing and accelerate the wear of the bearing. The assembly of bearings in Fig. 2-55 shows that the right side controls the two-way movement of bearings while there is a gap between the left side bearings and the cover. Fig. 256, bearing assembly, is fixed on the left side of the bearing jacket, there is a certain movement gap on the right side, and there is no fixed limit on both sides of the inner jacket.
